(GSM) – Juventus are reportedly set to sign Udinese winger Simone Pepe after the player underwent a medical at Turin.
New Juve coach Luigi Del Neri is keen to reshape the Bianconeri squad following a disappointing campaign last season and he has targeted a move for Pepe.
Pepe has undergone a successful medical at Juve, but he is unlikely to finalise his move until after the World Cup as he prepares to fly out to South Africa with Italy.
The 26-year-old, who was linked with a move to Sunderland last season, is excited at the prospect of joining Italian titans Juventus.
“I am pumped up and ready to wear the shirt of Juve,” said Pepe.
“For now I don’t know when I’ll sign. Let’s see if we can do it after the World Cup.”
