Spanish daily AS has revealed that Granada defender Guillerme Siqueira could make a move to Real Madrid in the coming days.
Los Blancos have lined up the Brazilian as a replacement for wantaway full-back Fabio Coentrao, but have been unable to reach an agreement over the transfer fee with the player’s current employers.
Nevertheless, the last meeting between the two parties, held yesterday afternoon, has suggested that the deal could soon come to fruition.
According to AS, Granada president Quique Pina is so convinced that Siqueira will succeed at Santiago Bernabeu that he is prepared to allow the player to join Real on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
There are no doubts that los Blancos will agree to such an arrangement, meaning the 27-year-old is likely to complete his move to Madrid in the next few days.
Siqueira has spent last three years at Granada, making 104 La Liga appearances and scoring 12 goals.
