Sissoko confident of Champions League success

Juventus midfielder Momo Sissoko is confident that they can win either the Scudetto or the Champions League this season.

The Bianconeri returns to the Champions League this season, following a two year absence.

“I think that we can win both the Scudetto and Champions League,” Sissoko told Tuttosport.

“I don’t want to think about just winning the Scudetto as this is not enough. We know that we have a great side here, better than last year and if we work well all season we can win the double.”

Sissoko was also disappointed that he was not on the pitch  in their first Serie A game this season, against Fiorentina. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

He added: “I was in Mali and I am disappointed that I was not on the pitch. The team played a good game but we were angry with that last minute goal.”

“Nevertheless, a draw away to Fiorentina is a good result.”
