Sivasspor and Besiktas win in Turkey

Sivasspor did well to defend their top spot in the Turkish league with a 02 win at Denizlispor on Saturday. Besiktas beat Kayserispor 1-0.

Leaders Sivasspor needed thirty minutes for Sedat Bayrak to open the score at Denizlispor and Herve Tum added another in the 39th.

Besiktas kept the damage limited though, as Yusuf Simsek scored the only goal of the match against Kayserispor after 27 minutes. The opposing side had Ali Turan sent off a few minutes later.

The gap between Sivasspor and Besiktas stands at just one point with eight matches to go.
