Both Sivasspor and Trabzonspor were held to a 1-1 draw today, as the two leaders failed to take advantage of each other’s slip-ups.

Sivasspor, who officially lead due to a better goal record, conceded an opening goal from Bursaspor’s Tadeu on 50 minutes, but were then helped as Ibrahim Ozturk scored an own goal seven minutes later.

Trabzonspor had a more difficult task, at least in theory, at Besiktas in Istanbul. Trab did take the lead through Gokhan Unal in the 29th minute but the home side secured a point as Bobo levelled with 13 minutes to play.

The two do extend their advantage over Galatasaray, who lost to Antalyaspor on Saturday. The gap now stands at five points.
