Bundesliga relegation-battlers Eintracht Frankfurt have sacked coach Michael Skibbe as the departures in Germany continue.
The 14th-placed outfit are three points from the relegation play-off and recorded their first league win of 2011 against St Pauli on Saturday.Skibbe is the 10th Bundesliga coach to be shown the door this season and will be replaced by former Fenerbahce and Bayer Leverkusen manager Christoph Daum.”I am very disappointed,” the departing boss said.“I thought we could also win against VfL Wolfsburg (on April 3).”Frankfurt can move further clear of the relegation zone with a win at the second-last placed side after the international break.
