Looking to capitalize on Finn Harp’s continued struggles, Sligo Rovers will travel to Ballybofey on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, putting in another lackluster display in their 1-0 loss away at St Patrick’s last time out, Finn Harps have continued on what has been a woeful run. Now losing each of their last six outings, a run that stems back to the 17th of March, it will undoubtedly be their defensive issues giving Ollie Horgan the biggest headache. Now sat bottom of the top-tier and on the verge of facing yet another relegation, they have remarkably recorded just a pair of clean sheets all season and have shipped nine goals in just their last three appearances.

As for the visitors, while Sligo would have been disappointed to have only picked up back-to-back draws against Cork and St Patrick’s, the Rovers are enjoying an eye-catching charge up the table. Now within touching distance of climbing into the top-half, Liam Buckley’s men have lost just one of their last 10 appearances, a run that stems all the way back to the middle of April. With the mood in their camp the highest it has been all season, Friday’s visitors have also lost just one of their last five matches away from the Showgrounds, with that sole defeat coming against runaway league leaders Dundalk.
