(GSM) – Wesley Sneijder is a doubt for Internazionale’s Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash with CSKA Moskva after suffering an injury in training.
The Dutch midfielder was left on the artificial surface of CSKA’s Luzhniki Stadium in pain due to a challenge with Sulley Muntari.
Sneijder, who was instrumental in Inter’s victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the last 16, was then forced to leave the session with an apparent ankle problem.
The club have not confirmed the extent of the injury and his status for Tuesday’s crunch match is currently in doubt.
The Italian side take a 1-0 aggregate lead into the fixture after Diego Milito grabbed the only goal in the first leg at the San Siro.
