(GSM) – On Tuesday, Inter Milan’s medical staff announced that Wesley Sneijder would be able to play against Juventus on Saturday. Two days later, the situation is completely different. His thigh injury has returned to haunt Sneijder and it’s doubted that he will play in the Derby d’Italia.
The Dutch midfielder recovers very slowly from a thigh injury which he sustained last month. Sneijder already had to pull out of the matches against Bologna, Fiorentina and Barcelona and is also a big question mark for Saturday’s match against Juventus. His thigh problem is troubling him again and the Holland international is set to miss Saturday’s much anticipated match.
Earlier this season, Sneijder had another spell at the sidelines, and the Inter fans already doubt his physical health. The 25-year-old midfielder has been labelled as ‘crystal Wesley’ or the ‘man of glass’ at internetforums. So far, Sneijder played eight competition matches for Inter.
