The agent of Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder insists that his client will not be leaving Inter any time soon.
The Dutch midfielder maestro was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, but he ended up staying at Giuseppe Meazza.
He was again tipped to leave the club when the transfer window opened in January, but his agent is adamant that Sneijder is not looking to leave.
“I really think that Wesley will remain at Inter, because a few weeks ago he said he was 90 per cent sure that he would stay,” Sneijder’s agent Soren Lerby told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Why didn’t he say 100 per cent? He wasn’t trying to hide any problems he has with the club or the coach, or any offers from other clubs. He left a small percentage, because in football anything can happen.
“For that same season, I would answer in the same way when asked about his future.”
Sneijder was frozen out at the start to the season by coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but he returned to the starting line-up with the arrival of Claudio Ranieri.
The Dutchman then missed two and a half months though injury and finally made his return in the 1:0 victory over Milan in Derby della Madonnina.
Sneijder amassed seven Serie A appearances this season, and scored one goal in the process.
