La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have expressed their desire to sign Mexican defender Diego Reyes from FC Porto, Noticias de Gipuzkoa has suggested.
La Real were far from impressive at the back last term, conceding 51 goals in 38 La Liga matches and coach David Moyes plans to reinforce his defence in the summer.
According to the Basque newspaper, the former Manchester United manager has set his sights on FC Porto starlet Diego Reyes, hoping to recruit the talented defender on a season-long loan.
Having seen his first team opportunities severely limited at Estadio do Dragao, the Mexico hotshot is widely expected to leave this summer, with PSV Eindhoven and Anderlecht also keen on his signature.
Reyes, 22, has a deal until June 2018 with the Dragons and should be available for around €5 million this summer.
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad are also keeping close tabs on Standard Liege centre back Alexander Scholz.
