Valencia striker Roberto Soldado is confident his side can beat German outfit Bayer Leverksusen at home in the Champions League on Tuesday.
With Chelsea and Bayer in front of Valencia in Group E, Unai Emery’s side find themselves in a must-win situation after two draws and a defeat so far.
The team from the Mestalla will be keen to make amends for their 2-1 loss in Germany, and their Spanish international attacker believes they will get the job done.
“We are confident in our chances and we are convinced that we will achieve victory,” Soldado told Super Deporte.
“We know how to win against Bayer. We showed in the first half hour in Germany, where we could have achieved victory. The key is to be more successful in front of goal.”
Valencia are fourth in La Liga, four points behind leaders Real Madrid.
