Soldado and Lamela set for Spurs exit?

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sell Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado this summer, according to the Express.

Both players were taken to White Hart Lane a year ago by then manager Andre Villas Boas, though neither set the world alight in their debut seasons in English football.

Though he struggled with injury during the second half of the campaign, Lamela started just ten times in all competitions with his one and only goal coming in a 2-1 victory over Moldovan side Sheriff in the group stages of the Europa League back in November.

The Argentine is being eyed by a number of Serie A sides including Napoli, Inter Milan, Juventus and previous club Roma.

Soldado fared slightly better with eleven goals in all competitions, though five of those came from the penalty spot.

La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are likely to be in the market for a new striker this summer, and could offer the 29 year old the chance to return to his homeland.
