Valencia are doing well this season. It has been a really good week for them as they topped group H of the UEFA Champions League and the Monday’s draw has put them to play against competition’s debutants Atalanta in the round of 16 next February.
This has been a good reason for Valencia to think about their long-term plans and Carlos Soler is obviously a part of them. The side from the famous Mestalla has announced that Soler has signed a new contract with the club for another three and a half years.
Soler would therefore be expected to stay at the club until the end of June 2023 and the 22-year-old obviously has a future at his current club. He has struggled with injury problems this season, making just 11 appearances across all competitions, but nevertheless, he is seen as a key part of the club’s future. Also, Spanish media are reporting that the release clause in Soler’s new contract is 150 million euros.
