Solskjaer leading race for Man United job

According to a recent report from the Mirror, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in pole position to become Manchester United’s permanent manager in the summer. The Norwegian stepped in as the club’s interim manager for the remainder of the season late last year, courtesy of Jose Mourinho’s departure. Many fans weren’t entirely sure how the run was going to go for Solskjaer, who is considered to be a United legend. However, in the last few months he’s been able to prove everyone wrong by guiding the Red Devils to a series of great results.

Obviously having the job on a permanent basis is going to feel a little bit different for him, but there’s no denying that he’d be a great selection for the job. He seems to have brought back a new belief in the team that we hadn’t seen from United in a good few years, which is one of the reasons why the fans are campaigning for him to stay.
