“We have looked into pre-season. We have also looked into players and hopefully the players that the club will sign will stay for many, many years.
“I love managing these boys and I love working here. As I am saying so many times I am just doing the best I can every single day, then if and when a decision is to be made, then we will see.”
Those are the words of interim Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who already seems to be thinking about what life next season will look like at Old Trafford. There’s been no confirmation from the club that he’ll be offered the role on a permanent basis next season, but in the wake of their Champions League triumph over Paris Saint-Germain, it seems like a very realistic possibility.
Solskjaer was brought in to replace Jose Mourinho, and since joining, he has injected new life into his former club.
