Solskjaer plays down Haaland to Man United

“I don’t think he’s on route here, to be fair, not through me anyway,” Solskjaer said.

“I can’t comment on other teams’ players, I’ve said that many times and that’s just one of those things that in this job you get so many speculations all the time.”

Those are the words of Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was commenting on the reports linking him with a move to RB Salzburg forward Erling Haaland. It’s no secret that United are pretty interested in the idea of bringing Haaland over to Old Trafford, and will attempt a series of different ways in which to do so.

Whether or not he actually wants to make that jump is a different matter altogether, although recent reports would suggest that heading to United is indeed his first choice.

There are many clubs invested in the idea of trying to sign the teenage sensation, who has made a startling start to the new campaign that has seen him introduce himself to the European stage in style.
