Solskjaer to stay at Man United?

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Ed Woodward has insisted that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the full backing of the club at Manchester United.

There have been a parade of concerns directed towards Solskjaer over the course of the last few weeks with United having some worrying results in the lead-up to the international break. The defeats to West Ham and Aston Villa as well as the draw with Everton, all of which were at home, have raised a few eyebrows regarding Ole’s position as manager.

The Red Devils have a string of tough fixtures ahead of them once the international break comes to an end and if they don’t show up in a big way, the Norwegian could easily be in trouble.

Solskjaer has done well to help build a new squad in his own vision but he may well have taken the club as far as he possibly can.
