After leapfrogging Manchester City to second spot, Tottenham will welcome Wolves to Wembley in their final matchup of 2018.
Starting with Spurs, while few would have expected Mauricio Pochettino’s side to top their 6-2 win away at Everton last weekend, Tottenham managed to put five past Newcastle and are now tipped to be a title dark horse. One man who has undoubtedly been catching the eye at Wembley is South Korean international Son Heung-min. Grabbing another brace against the Magpies on Boxing Day, the 26-year-old has now bagged five in his last three matches across all competitions and will be looking to extend that tally on Saturday afternoon.
As for the visitors, while Wolves might still have their sights set on securing a European spot this season, Nuno Espírito Santo will know that his side must improve on their form away from Molineux. Coming off the back of a 1-1 draw away at Fulham on Boxing Day, the Oranges have recorded just one away win in their last five attempts, a run that has also seen them lose to the likes of Cardiff and Brighton. Wolves’ Portuguese boss will also know that his side still have a handful of defensive issues that need resolving. Saturday’s visitors have just one clean sheet in their last 12 matches, a run that stems back to the start of October.
Bet: Son Heung-min 7/5 to score anytime against Wolves in Saturday’s Premier League clash @ Bet 365
