Sorensen unsure on Stoke future

Thomas Sorensen is has admitted that his future at Stoke City is uncertain despite being offered a new one-year deal by the club, according to the Daily Star.

The Danish shot-stopper has made just three Premier League appearances over the past two seasons due to Asmir Begovic’s impressive form.

With the Potters’ number one set to subjected to another summer of transfer speculation there is every chance that he could secure a big money move away from the Britannia, though Sorensen insists that his teammate’s situation will not dictate his own decision.

The 37 year old has now been in England for sixteen years having previously had spells with Sunderland and Aston Villa before being signed by former Stoke boss Tony Pulis in 2008.

In total he has made one hundred and twenty-eight appearances for the club, which includes the 2011 FA Cup final defeat to Manchester City at Wembley.
