Sampdoria stars Roberto Soriano and Eder will remain at Marassi for the foreseeable future, the highly rated midfielder has suggested.
The two players were on the radar of quite a few top sides this summer after impressing for the Blucerchiati last season.
And even if they remained at the club after the transfer window closed, the duo continued to be linked with a move away from Marassi.
Nevertheless, speaking after Eder and himself helped the team to a 2-0 win over Bologna, Roberto Soriano hinted that they would not be moving clubs any time soon.
“These days we will meet with the club and we will find an agreement, Eder and myself are happy to remain at Sampdoria,” the midfielder told reporters.
Following some excellent performances in Italian Serie A, both Soriano and Eder played themselves into the first team plans of Italy coach Antonio Conte.
And while the midfielder made three substitute appearances in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, his teammate started one game and came on in another two, scoring his first Azzurri goal vs Bulgaria.
