Soualiho Meïté set for Torino?

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Soualiho Meite is on the verge of signing for Torino after a great deal of speculation regarding his future. The 24-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move away from Monaco for quite some time now, and he recently posted an image of himself on a plane as he teased a permanent switch. Now, it seems as if the transfer is a matter of days away from being completed.

Meite started off his professional career with Auxerre before spending four years with Lille, and after a one-year stint with Monaco, it seems as if he’s fed up with not having a secure place to ply his trade. He had a somewhat successful tenure with Bordeaux on loan but a full transfer never quite came to fruition, but he’ll be confident of breaking his way into the first team with Torino who finished 9th in Serie A last season.
