A header in the second half from Kjetil Wæhler heaped more pressure on South Africa coach Joel Santana in Norway’s 1-0 friendly win.

Just three minutes into the second half, Wæhler was unmarked in the area for an easy header past goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs, sending South Africa to their seventh loss in eight games.

South Africa looked fairly dangerous in the early stages of the game, but the size and skill of the Norwegians gave the Bafana Bafana defenders a tough matchup throughout the game in Oslo.

Morten Gamst Pedersen had his shot well saved by Joseph’s in the 27th minute, and the South African keeper had to be alert throughout the first half to keep Norway at bay.

South Africa never really threatened in the second half, allowing Wæhler’s header to be the difference in the match.
