Southampton lock horns with Everton at St Mary’s in the Premier League this afternoon, and are big favourites to come out on top given the injury crisis the Toffees are currently suffering. Everton lost a host of key players ahead of the new campaign, and subsequently struggled in their opening game at home to newly promoted Watford.

Last season, Southampton beat Everton comfortably at St Mary’s, and are being given odds of 19/20 by Ladbrokes to repeat the feat this afternoon. Everton struggle on the road, and have been unsettled all pre-season due to fitness woes as well as speculation linking their players to other sides in the country. The season has come to early for them.
