Premier League outfit Southampton are stepping up their efforts to sign Serbian winger Dusan Tadic from Twente, reports Voetbal International.
New Saints boss Ronald Koeman is a huge fan of the Serbia international and he has instructed club officials to try and lure him to St Mary’s as soon as possible.
The two clubs are currently negotiating a deal for the talented footballer, who is valued at €12.5 million by the Tukkers.
Dusan Tadic seems to be ready for a new challenge in his career having enjoyed two very successful seasons with Twente after joining from Groningen.
The 25-year-old has made a total of 70 league appearances for the Tukkers, scoring 29 goals and producing 28 assists in the process.
He has also developed into a key player for Serbia national team, and a move to English Premier League appears to be a just reward for some scintillating performances for club and country over the last few years.
