Premier League outfit Southampton are weighing up January bid for AS Monaco striker Guido Carrillo, according to L’Equipe.
The Saints have used Manolo Gabbiadini, Shane Long and Charlie Austin up front this season, but boss Mauricio Pellegrino doesn’t seem perfectly happy with his attacking options.
According to reports, Southampton have set their sights on AS Monaco forward Guido Carrillo, who has mostly been restricted to substitute appearances since joining from Estudiantes.
But, having scored 15 goals in just 22 Ligue 1 starts, the 26-year-old did well to prove his worth at Stade Louis II and he could now be moving to English Premier League.
The Saints sit just above the bottom three having scored mere 23 goals in as many matches, and they are priced at 9/2 to defeat Tottenham on Sunday.
