Southampton are plotting a move for Brighton and Hove Albion winger Solly March, according to the Mirror.
The twenty-one year old has been one of the stand out performers for Chris Hughton’s side, who sit on top of the Championship after an unbeaten start to their 2015/16 campaign.
He has made fourteen league appearances for the Seagulls so far this season, scoring three times while he made his first competitive appearance for England’s U21s in a 3-1 win over Switzerland last month.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman monitored March eighteen months ago though passed on him due to his inexperience.
However, his form this season has reignited his interest and bid could to be made when the transfer window reopens next month.
Brighton returned to first place in the second tier with victory over Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon, and they can now be backed at a price of 6/4 to win promotion.
