Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes is the man the Saints want, according to the Daily Echo, but their pursuits are stalling due to a lack of cooperation from the Russian club.
The south coast club have scored just 24 times in 24 games this season, and they haven’t been able to lean as heavily on last year’s stingy defence to get them out of trouble.
Promes meanwhile has scored five times in 13 games for Spartak during this campaign, and has reached double figure league goals in each of the four seasons he has spent with the club.
