Southampton achieved a crucial win over Swansea on Tuesday night which officially secured their Premier League status for another year.
The Saints have been under a risk of going down but it was Manolo Gabbiadini who came to the rescue with his winning goal just minutes after replacing Bednarek.
Southampton players honoured the Italian in the dressing room after the match by chanting his name.
