Premier League outfit Southampton are weighing up summer bid for Juventus stopper Angelo Ogbonna, Tuttosport has suggested.
The Saints have been keeping close tabs on the Italy international and they seem ready to submit an official proposal for his services.
According to Tuttosport, Southampton will offer around €10 million for 27-year-old footballer, who hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth in Turin.
It is for that reason that the Bianconeri are prepared to consider any serious proposal, despite the fact that Leonardo Bonucci is being linked with a summer move to Real Madrid.
Angelo Ogbonna joined Juventus from local rivals Torino two years ago, and he went on to make 41 Serie A appearances for the Old Lady.
However, it looks as though he has failed to adapt to the size of his new club and everything that goes with it, so the Bianconeri officials are no longer convinced he has what it takes to play at the highest level.
