Southampton are set to sign Gavin Bazunu from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Saints have reached an agreement with Premier League champions City over the signing of goalkeeper Bazunu on a permanent contract.
90min have reported that Bazunu has put pen to paper on a long-term contract with Southampton, and that the 20-year-old is confident that he will usurp Alex McCarthy as the number one goalkeeper between the posts at St. Mary’s Stadium.
Manchester City won the Premier League table last season with 93 points from 38 matches, while Southampton ended the campaign 15th in the standings with 40 points for 38 games.
