Southampton are ready to leave James Ward-Prowse in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Saints are looking for £50 million in transfer fees for their club captain.
A number of clubs are keen on signing Ward-Prowse from Southampton in the summer transfer window. Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe personally wants the English midfielder at St. James’ Park, while Manchester United are keen on the 28-year-old midfielder. Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are also admirers of Ward-Prowse.
Ward-Prowse has made 31 appearances in the Premier League for Southampton so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in the process. Southampton are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 31 matches, as many as four points behind 17th-placed Everton.
