Southampton want to sign Josh Maja from West Bromwich Albion

Southampton are interested in signing Josh Maja from West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Ipswich Town and Bournemouth are also keen on a deal for the 26-year-old Nigeria international striker.

Fichajes has claimed that West Brom will ask for €12 million in transfer fees for Maja. The striker has scored 10 goals and given two assists in 24 Championship appearances so far this season. West Brom are aiming to end up in the playoffs. The Baggies currently find themselves a point off the sixth spot in the Championship table and could stand a chance of getting promoted to the Premier League for the 2025-26 campaign.

Southampton and Ipswich are in danger of getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the season. As for Bournemouth, the Cherries are in the running for the European spots in the league table this season.
