Southampton want to sign Mislav Orsic

Southampton are interested in signing Mislav Orsic from Dinamo Zagreb in the January transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Premier League club have held talks with the Croatian outfit over a deal for the 30-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.

The Saints are reportedly hoping to get a deal wrapped up for the 2022 Qatar World Cup player for €10 million. Orsic himself is keen on making a move to St. Mary’s Stadium despite having interest from Southampton’s Premier League rivals Bournemouth, Everton and Nottingham Forest.

Southampton are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from 18 matches, four points behind 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers. Meanwhile, Dinamo Zagreb, who won the league title in Croatia last season, are currently at the top of the SuperSport Hrvatska nogometna liga standings with 41 points from 16 matches.
