Spain continue to occupy the first spot in the FIFA world ranking, while Germany surpass Italy to move into second place.
With little international action in July, not many points were earned. Yet, several changes did occur as older points stopped being valid for the ranking.
Both Germany and Italy lost points that way, but the Azzurri gave up more than the Germans, who now take the second place on the table.
The Netherlands climb a spot to fourth place, followed by Croatia in fifth. The first non-European team is Brazil in sixth place, with Argentina just behind in seventh.
The ranking:
1. Spain 1557
2. Germany 1343
3. Italy 1320
4. Netherlands 1299
5. Croatia 1282
6. Brazil 1242
7. Argentina 1219
8. Czech Republic 1146
9. Portugal 1122
10. Russia 1023
