Spalletti confident Roma squad is good enough

Roma boss Luciano Spalletti is confident that his side is good enough to challenge both for the Serie A title and for success in the Europa League.

The Giallorossi failed to make an impact last season.

“I am convinced this is a squad worthy of Rome, the quality of young players is important,” he said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“If other transactions are made then it will not create difficulties in our approach to the championship. This team was built with large investments, based on results in past seasons. The objective has always been growth and victory.”
