Spalletti praises Skriniar

As reported by Sport, Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti had some emotive words to say when discussing defender Milan Skriniar’s performance against Barcelona. The game saw Barca come up against two potential players that they’re looking into buying with Mauro Icardi being one, and Skriniar being the other.

“If I am Barcelona, I would offer €120m plus €20m bonuses. If I am Real Madrid, I would pay €140m and €40m. This is what I think of Skriniar” he said.

While some may think that he’s exaggerating it’s difficult not to be too excited in the wake of such a tremendous result, especially when you consider the fact that Inter have been on the rise for quite some time now.

If they wanted to be considered serious contenders both in Italy and in Europe then they desperately need to keep hold of their biggest stars, because otherwise, they could be staring down the barrel of another gutting at the hands of ‘bigger’ clubs.
