French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that Atletico Madrid and Valencia are keeping close tabs on Pacos de Ferreira midfeilder Jean-Michael Seri.
The 23-year-old has been earning rave reviews for his performances in Portugal’s elite division and it is now clear his good showings did not go unnoticed.
According to L’Equipe, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Valencia are closely monitoring his progress with a view of luring the midfielder to La Liga in the future.
Seri began his professional career with ASEC Mimosas in native Ivory Coast, before securing a move to Porto B side.
The talented footballer left the Dragons after just one season, but has since kick-started his career at Pacos de Ferreira.
Seri, who has a contract until June 2016 at Estadio da Capital do Movel, has so far made 37 league appearances for the club, scoring 1 goal in the process.
The player received a call up to the Ivory Coast national team for the March 2014 friendly against Belgium, but he watched the entire game from the bench.
