La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are keeping close tabs on Palermo striker Ilija Nestorovski, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The two clubs have taken notice of the forward’s impressive performances in Italian Serie A and they will continue to monitor his showings for the Rosanero.
Ilija Nestorovski is likely to prove one of Palermo’s best ever signings considering that he was paid mere €500,000 last summer as he joined from Croatian side Inter Zapresic, where he had bagged 69 goals in 90 league outings.
The FYR Macedonia international took to Serie A like duck to water and he already has 9 league goals to his tally despite the fact that the Rosanero sit deep in the relegation zone.
With Palermo almost certain to get relegated at the end of the season, chances are that Nestorovski will be made available for sale, and few other sides besides Atletico and Sevilla are expected to join the chase for his signature.
