Spartak Moscow have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of German midfielder Patrick Ebert from Real Valladolid.
The 26-year-old arrives in Moscow on a free transfer having previously decided to cancel his contract with the La Liga side.
Spartak Moscow decided to make a move on Ebert after selling winger Aiden McGeady to Everton in the January transfer window.
After spending his early career at Hertha Berlin, the winger joined Real Valladolid in the summer of 2012 and has been an instant hit in La Liga.
Having nailed down a regular starting berth, Ebert went on to make 36 league appearances for the club, scoring 9 goals in the process.
He has, however, fallen out with the club after refusing to play against Villarreal and decided to cancel his contract at Jose Zorrilla, although Real Valladolid plan to take a legal action against the player.
