Spartak Moscow in talks for Udinese’s Allan

Russian newspaper Izvestia understands that Spartak Moscow are in talks to sign Brazilian midfielder Allan from Udinese.

The Russian giants have been impressed with the 23-year-old footballer and they aim to lure him to Moscow as early as January.

Spartak have proposed a player plus cash deal that would see Rafael Carioca move to Udinese, and while the Serie A side are interested in such an arrangement, they want some €7 million in cash.

The Russian Premier League outfit hope to lower the amount to €5 million, but chances are the two parties will eventually find an agreement.

Seeing as how Rafael Carioca is currently sidelined through injury and will not return until January 2015, Udinese also hope to postpone the transfer until the summer.

While Allan has developed into one of Serie A’s top midfielders, his compatriot has failed to prove his worth at Spartak and is currently on loan at Atletico Mineiro.
