(TVL) – Spartak Nalchik reconquered their top spot in the Russian Premier League thanks to a 1-0 win over Krylya Sovetov on Sunday.

After Rubin Kazan’s 0-1 win at Amkar Perm a day earlier, Nalchik also needed a win in order to jump back to the first position.

And that is exactly what happened as Vladimir Kisenkov’s goal in the 27th minute turned out to be the only goal of the match.

Spartak are two points ahead of Rubin Kazan and three points ahead of CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, but the latter two both have a game in hand.
