(GSM) – Spartak Nalchik remain on top in the Russian Premier League after Saturday’s 5-2 win over Rostov.
After earning seven points from their previous three games, Spartak again impressed against Rostov and needed just four minutes for David Siradze to score the opening goal.
Penalties from Leandro and Alexander Amisulashvili then tripled the home side’s lead, before Dusan Andjelkovic pulled one back for 3-1 in the 63rd minute.
Two goals from Vladimir Dyadyun and a penalty from Rostov’s Vladimir Adamov went on to set the score to 5-2.
On Sunday, Rubin Kazan get a chance to rejoin Spartak Nalchik in first place. Zenit St Petersburg and CSKA Moscow, both with seven points after three games, had their encounter postponed on Friday.
