Spartak Moscow insist they have no intention of allowing Jano Ananidze to leave the club with Liverpool and Arsenal reportedly interested in signing the player.

The 17-year-old midfielder has risen to prominence in recent months, even making his international debut for Georgia.

Now the Gunners and the Reds are believed to be amongst those showing a strong interest in the talented playmaker.

Sevilla, Juventus and AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in Ananidze, but Spartak are insistent that they will not be cashing in.

“I read the stories,” said Spartak director of football Dmitri Popov.

“The list of clubs did not surprise me, especially the first two [Arsenal and Liverpool], they are built on continually searching for new talent.

“But Spartak haven’t received formal offers and we don’t intend to consider them for the next three or four years.”
