St Johnstone and Aberdeen fought out an entertaining 0-0 draw at McDiarmid Park in Wednesday’s lone Scottish Premier League fixture.
Both sides will take a measure of satisfaction from the stalemate, with St Johnstone notching their sixth straight clean sheet at home and Aberdeen their fourth in a row.
Nick Blackman and Rob Milson came closest for Aberdeen with attempts that were brilliantly denied by Saints goalkeeper Peter Enckelman, while Dons counterpart Jamie Langfield was called into action in the second half with several terrific saves.
The draw sees both teams draw level with Hibernian on 31 points, still three points shy of the top half of the table.
St Johnstone will look to make it seven shut-outs when Hibernian visit on Saturday in the midst of a five-game winning streak, while Aberdeen travel to Dundee United on Monday.
