Portuguese media outlet A Bola is reporting that Sporting Lisbon are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Brazilian defender Bruno Uvini.
The Lions were unsuccessful in their attempts to recruit the 23-year-old in the winter, but they look set to make things right this time out.
Namely, they have all but agreed a season-long loan with an option to buy with Napoli, with buy-out clause set to be around €2 million.
Bruno Uvini does not appear to have a future at Stadio San Paolo and he will probably eventually join the Lions on permanent basis.
The talented footballer has only made one league appearance since joining from Sao Paulo in the summer of 2012, although he did well during a loan spell with Santos in the first part of the current season.
Uvini wasn’t even considered for starting places after returning to Napoli in the winter and is now nearing a switch to Sporting.
