Sporting CP agree deal for Luciano Vietto

Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto will soon be joining Sporting CP, according to O Jogo.

The Lions have agreed to sign the forward on loan until the end of the season for €2 million, while a €10 million purchase option will also be included.

All that’s left is for the player to agree personal terms with Sporting CP, but latest reports suggest he is keen on moving to Estadio Jose Alvalade.

Having failed to prove his worth at Vicente Calderon and secure regular playing time, the Argentine footballer will attempt to revive his career in Portugal.

Luciano Vietto had joined Atletico Madrid in a €20 million deal from Villarreal in July 2015 and went on to score just 1 goal in 25 league outings for los Colchoneros.
