Sporting CP are closing in on FYR Macedonia full-back Stefan Ristovski, according to Record.

The Lions have made the 25-year-old one of their primary targets and club chairman Bruno de Carvalho decided to handle negotiations himself.

Portuguese daily newspaper Record understands that Sporting CP have already found an agreement with Stefan Ristovski, and they now need to have a bid accepted by his employers.

HNK Rijeka are prepared to slightly lower their original €4 million asking price, but the Lions have so far offered just €2 million due to the fact that the player’s contract is due to expire in June 2018.

Stefan Ristovski has performed admirably since arriving to Croatia, having managed 2 goals and 16 assists in 86 competitive appearances.
