Sporting CP eyeing Argentine starlet

Portuguese giants Sporting CP are keeping close tabs on Colon defender German Andres Conti, according to A Bola.

The Lions have recently reached an agreement to sign one of Colon’s most exciting prospects Alan Ruiz, who will be arriving at Estadio Jose Alvalade at the end of the season.

However, they also appear keen on his teammate German Conti, who has shown a great deal of potential since coming through the youth ranks.

Having watched the 21-year-old in action on several occasions, Sporting CP are keen on luring the youngster to Portugal, although they are unlikely to make a move in the summer transfer window.

German Conti has spent his entire career up to date with Colon, making a total of 56 league appearances and scoring one goal.

The talented centre-back is predicted a bright future in the game and he could soon be making a move to Europe.
