Portuguese giants Sporting CP are in advanced talks to sign Italian defender Davide Santon from Inter Milan, A Bola can reveal.
The Lions have done plenty of business of late, recruiting Bas Dost and Luc Castaignos, while Islam Slimani nears a move to Leicester City.
However, they could complete another deal before the summer window is closed as Davide Santon nears a move to Estadio Jose Alvalade.
The Italian defender has seen his first team opportunities severely limited at Giuseppe Meazza and he should be available for some €5 million.
Inter Milan would reportedly consider a loan deal with an option to buy as well, so everything suggests Santon will be joining the Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit this summer.
The former Newcastle United defender has made mere 22 league appearances during his second spell with the Nerazzurri, and he was in the starting line-up as Inter shared spoils with Palermo last weekend.
